What’s happening for grown-ups?
Elderflower Fields is unashamedly all about the kids, with more activities than you can possibly pack into one weekend, guaranteed to exhaust even the most active little adventurers. But we haven’t forgotten the grown-ups. In addition to our fabulous music line-up and delicious food on offer, here are a few things you can also book yourself into.
Workshops
Most of the workshops at Elderflower Fields are open to everyone to take part in and we encourage families to get involved in drop-in activities all over the festival. From power ballad yoga in the morning to nocturnal shadow puppet performances and stargazing by night, we hope you find something to inspire everyone.
Just for adults, our Gin Workshop guides you through the history of Gin ending with the landscape of today’s incredibly diverse Gin market. Beer & Brew beer tasting offers a fun and informal workshop exploring the story of India Pale Ale. Only With Love introduce the world of Kombucha as they teach you all about this amazing fermented soft drink and send you off with a starter kit to get you brewing up your very own batches.
Relax
For those that wish to fully relax we recommend the ancient practice of Qigong (cultivating energy), Mindful Movement, or a Defrazzle session with Core Transformation Practitioner & Embodiment Coach Georgie. And of course, a weekend at Elderflower Fields wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our Woodland Spa. Tucked away in a tranquil corner of the festival site, pre-booking treatments include sports / deep tissue, Hot stones, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy / full body and Reflexology.
Action
If you like to keep active, adults can start the morning early with Wild Running and explore Pippingford Park further. This year we also introduce Raft Building down on the lake. A fun (and wet) activity for anyone over 8.
Any activities that require pre-booking (including kayak, canoe and paddleboard hire) can be found here. Do book early as spaces are limited.
Of course, many of our guests simply sit back and enjoy watching the kids run wild whilst enjoying our full programme of exceptional performance. But don’t forget, on Saturday night we hand the reigns over to our budding DIY DJ’s at the cocktail bar (no skills required!).
