2023 Taste of Elderflower Fields

By May 2, 2023No Comments
Yummy! Our favourite subject…

At Elderflower HQ we are excited to announce some new vendors and new partnerships for 2023. Many of our regulars return, of course, Elderflower is their favourite event of the season!

New additions to the menu this year include The Devil’s Pantry, offering delicious Mediterranean skewers, Brighton-based The Two Fridas, offering innovative Mexican vegan food and Curry Squad – a powerhouse of artisan Indian Street food. Also new to the festival is The Gourmet Griddle, serving up sizzling chicken in wraps, burgers, whatever you fancy, and plant-based locals Tiger Eats Carrot who will tempt even the most dedicated meat eater!

If you fancy something more sandwich-based, we are also welcoming Little Pops Bagels and Manor Green College, a specialist school who have been involved in other projects at Elderflower Fields, and this year will be dishing up delicious paninis.

The usual handcrafted pizzas, organic burgers, fish and chips, crepes, waffles and pancakes, icecreams and plenty of coffee will be available all prepared to the highest standard with quality local ingredients where possible. All vendors are encouraged to offer smaller/or kids portions where possible, for those with smaller appetites, or on a budget.

For drinks, head to the two large bars or the charming Little Langtons horsebox G&T bar. We’ve teamed up with Only With Love, a great local craft beer company who will be selling and sampling their low-alcohol beers and kombuchas, and Toast Ale, an original and creative beer company who use surplus bread to replace barley – using less energy and reducing food waste. Pip Organic on Leapfrog Lawns, will be playing fun games and selling juices, lollies and squeezers, and their sparkling drinks will also be available in the main bars.

Don’t forget to stock up on campsite staples too at Jackson’s General Store offering pick-n-mix, and packaging-free treats. Finally, Elderflower Fields food journey would not be complete without Sunday’s taster picnic bringing you together with festival friends, old and new.

Leave the pot noodles at home and explore the food and drink on offer this year.

Yum!
