Covering 6,500 acres of heathland and woodland surrounding Pippingford Park, Ashdown Forest is full to the brim with wildlife from the tiny, rare Dartford Warbler to the ambling Exmoor Ponies who do their bit by grazing. There are plenty of opportunities for young (and old) minds to explore the magic of this glorious landscape. And don’t forget about Winnie-The-Pooh who lived just down the road in Hartfield and spent his adventures on Ashdown Forest.
