We hope you are all safe and well. It’s been a long, tough year, but hopefully you are beginning to see the light at the end of the lockdown tunnel and feeling the warmth of longer, happier days ahead.
With the latest government announcement, confirming the guidelines and timings for when events will be allowed to take place again, we are able to now plan with a degree of certainty for Elderflower Fields this summer. Our normal May dates might be technically feasible, but there is not much wriggle room and certainly still some risk attached to planning a safe event for the summer half term. So, we have made the decision to move the festival back by two months, to the end of July.
The new dates for this year’s Elderflower Fields South are Friday 23rd July – Tuesday 27th July.
This will be the first weekend of the school summer holidays for most people. We’ve secured the dates with Pippingford Park, and transferred all of our critical infrastructure and suppliers. Inevitably some of our programme content will now change, but we will fill any gaps with our usual high standard of exceptional performers and activities. We’re completely thrilled to be able to plan the final details and bring Elderflower Fields back after a forced break and can’t wait to welcome you all to what promises to be a pretty special festival. And we’re still keeping the free fourth night of camping!
We know that some of you might be disappointed at the date change, but we’ve acted as quickly as we can to give you as much notice as possible. If existing ticket holders are unable to make the new dates, we are offering a two week window within which to claim a full refund. All ticket holders have received an email explaining the full details and further information and FAQs related to the date change can be found here.
We hope that most of you will agree that this is something really exciting and positive to look forward to. Thanks a million for all the support and encouragement over the last 12 months, especially those of you who rolled your tickets over from 2020.
We’ll be releasing updated programme information and more details over the coming weeks and months, but for now, put the new dates in your diary and start dreaming of a wild family adventure together with us this summer!
With love from the Elderflower Fields team
