Elderflower Fields is owned and operated by So Sussex Ltd. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the responsible management any personal data which you provide to us. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it. This policy has been updated in line with the General Data Protection Regulations introduced in May 2018.

In order to ensure we adhere to data protection legislation we will only ask for the relevant personal data required to offer you services. Through our website
Our websites use ’cookies’ which are text files placed on your computer when you visit a site which help us understand how you use our websites. Cookies don’t collect personal data from your computer, only the data created by your browsing. Some cookies remain on your computer after you leave the website; these are called ‘persistent’ cookies. Others are deleted automatically when you close your browser and others simply expire. We primarily use cookies for load balancing as part of Google Analytics. We use these analytics to record information about how our website visitors interact with the site, but the IP addresses collected are anonymised.

Through our mailing list
If you are on our mailing list you will receive occasional information and promotional emails from us. The data is stored by Mailchimp and you can easily unsubscribe or update your preferences by clicking the link at the bottom of any email.
Our mailing list contains your name and email address only. No other information is held.
Your details are added to our mailing list if you have ever attended the festival or joined our mailing list via the subscribe form on our website.
Our mailing list data is for the sole use of So Sussex Ltd and is not shared with any third parties.

If you contact us
If you send us an email or contact us via one of the forms on our website, including applications to trade, perform or volunteer, then we may retain whatever data you provide to us. This normally includes your name and email address. We will ensure that all personal data you supply is held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. We treat all the information you give us as private and confidential and we will not share this information with anyone not connected to So Sussex unless you give us explicit permission to do so or if we are permitted or required to by law.

If you purchase a ticket or other goods
If you purchase tickets for Elderflower Fields your information will be stored and used by Eventbrite in accordance with the their own Privacy Policy. We will access this data for analytical purposes and also to contact customers with relevant information relating to the event. We do not store bank or credit/debit card details.

Under data protection legislation you have the right to request access to information that we hold about you. To make a request for your personal information please contact info@sosussex.co.uk.
You also have the right to:
Object to processing of any personal data that is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress.
Prevent processing for the purpose of direct marketing.
