As the pandemic rattles on and we endure the lockdown, homeschooling and many other challenges, it’s sometimes difficult to feel positive about returning to anything like normality soon. And with the cancellation of Glastonbury festival, there is understandably nervousness about the rest of the festival season this summer.
Despite being relatively early in the year, Elderflower Fields is a small and agile event. At this stage, we are still planning and hoping to run our normal festival at the end of May. We’re working hard to ensure that, if we’re allowed to run the festival, it will, as always, be with the safety of our audience and crew at the core of our planning.
We are of course also looking at backup plans, including the potential to move to a date later in the summer. For now though, it’s still a little too early to predict exactly where things will be by the end of May, so we’re looking forward with optimism.
We’ll update you with any further news as soon as we can. As always, thank you to all of our friends for your continued support.
