A wild weekend family adventure, packed full of music, sports, nature and the arts, all set in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside.

Elderflower Fields is a small, safe and friendly festival, designed especially for families with younger children. We believe in the transformative power of spending time immersed in nature, letting kids be a little bit wild and free, and in appreciating great food and the arts together with friends.

After a forced fallow year in 2020 due to Covid, we are thrilled to be returning to Pippingford Park on a slightly later date this year. The recent roadmap outlined by the government has given us a high degree of confidence that we’ll be able to run the festival this July. We have plenty of space and offer a more relaxed and nature focussed festival than many – a perfect chance to reunite and celebrate with friends whilst giving kids a full on adventure packed wild weekend.

This year we have also added fourth free night of camping, giving all of our wonderful families more time to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature and surrounds of the Ashdown Forest. See the full statement on our date change here and read specific FAQs for ticket holders here.

The ideal first festival for families, Elderflower Fields is hip, intimate & independent... The nature programme is unparalleled.

The Guardian

Elderflower Fields has raised the bar for what I now want out of a family festival. It really is the festival for parents who aren’t quite sure about taking their family to a festival. Small, but not in a way that there’s nothing to do. It’s quite the opposite in fact...

Festivals For All

We had a totally fantastic time. Elderflower Fields put a massive effort into the special touches and it really pays off; the site looked amazing and was beautiful decorated everywhere we turned.

Festival Kidz

Our second year of attending this amazing May bank holiday event! Once again exceeded all our expectations. Our children had an absolute blast! In their own words last years was "the best weekend ever" and this year was "even better!"
