By submitting an application to enter the Elderflower Fields Youth Performers Competition 2016, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

All group members / performers must be aged under 18 on the 29th May 2016.

The group / performer must be available to perform at the festival on 28th & 29th May 2016. If you are successful, we will contact you to confirm exact timings and arrangements.

The group / performer must be prepared to perform a 20 – 40 minute act.

Limited expenses will be available to the winning group to help cover the cost of transport.

Winning groups / performers must nominate a responsible parent/manager.

By entering the competition, you agree to give Elderflower Fields and it’s parter organisations permission to use images, videos and audio recordings of your group / performance for promotional purposes. Credit and links to the artists will always be provided where possible.

During the Facebook vote phase of the competition, your friends, family and the public will be asked to ‘like’ and promote the festival in order to vote. This is partly a means of monitoring who is voting and ensuring only one vote per person. This is the fairest way to run the public vote.

Cheating of any form will not be tolerated. The public vote is designed in part to encourage groups / performers to understand the value of self promotion and to engage the public in the youth performance content of the festival. Any use of vote exchange systems, fake Facebook accounts or any other form of artificially increasing votes will result in disqualification from the competition.

Sorry if that all sounds a bit serious, but it’s important to be fair to everyone who enters. This year we are expecting over 3000 people at the festival and our stages use the best professional equipment and technicians, so the winning groups will have a fantastic experience!

As in 2015, the group with the most votes will get to perform on the main stage (or other stage if it is deemed more appropriate for the type of act). In addition, the festival organisers may also pick 1 or 2 entries to add to our youth line up.

Good luck everyone!
